Cozy stay with some quirks
So, I stayed for a night in a double room. It was super comfy, and I liked having the fridge and microwave. The staff were chill and helped me with my check-in. The only bummer was the carpet, which really needed a clean. Oh, and loved the bar area, nice spot to relax after a long drive!

The Walnut Inn had a cozy vibe, especially with the fridge and microwave in the room, making it super convenient for grab-and-go meals. My bed felt comfy and offered good support after a long drive. I appreciated how easy it was to check in, even with a busy front desk. The location next to the truck stop made it noisy at night, which could be distracting. Minor cleaning issues were noticeable. the bathroom could use a more thorough scrub to truly shine. However, the nearby bar was a fun spot to unwind at the end of the day. Overall, the experience felt mixed. Staff seemed stretched thin, which affected the attentiveness I expected.
